S.T.A.R.T. House Mission Statement

S.T.A.R.T. House's Mission Statement is to uplift, support, elevate, and improve the independence of those suffering from severe mental illness (SMI) in Summit County.  Driven by the desire to integrate clientele back into the community and to reduce the stigmas associated with mental illness, S.T.A.R.T.'s mission is to support and advocate for the under-served mental health population.  We are excited and trust that you can envision the desperately needed programs of service that we provide including our Twelve Step Program, and hope that you will join us on our journey of dedication and obligation to our community.

Serving Others . . . Meeting Needs

Serving others is our goal!  You can think of S.T.A.R.T. House as a place where people who are in need may come to get a "new start."  Our doors are open to help many who are "underserved" or have some form of disability, and need training in practical areas of life.  We labor tireless on behalf of others and are committed to their success.  We also work in collaboration with similarly focused organizations so that our resources and efforts can be better devoted where needed.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity organization. Thank you in advance for your support!
